Effective date: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the KBWIM QuickBooks Sync application (the "Application") handles data in the course of synchronizing accounting records between Mirabel Technologies CRM and the QuickBooks Online account of Kates-Boylston Publications.
The Application accesses customer records, invoice records, and payment-receipt records belonging to Kates-Boylston Publications, scoped to the "ALL KB Products" business unit within the Mirabel CRM platform. The Application reads this data from Mirabel and creates corresponding accounting entries in the QuickBooks Online account designated by Kates-Boylston Publications. No credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment instrument details are ever accessed, stored, or transmitted.
The Application does not maintain a long-term store of accounting data. Records pass through the Application during synchronization runs and are not retained after the run completes, with the exception of cross-system identifier mappings (record IDs) required to keep Mirabel and QuickBooks in sync. No data is sold, leased, or otherwise shared with third parties.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS between the Application and the Mirabel and QuickBooks APIs. The Application runs in a serverless environment and does not expose any inbound endpoint that accepts data from external parties.
The Application sends operational reports summarizing each synchronization run to a small list of authorized recipients at Kates-Boylston Publications and WSPN. These reports include counts of records processed and any errors encountered. They do not include customer personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to identify a record that failed to sync, and never include payment instrument data.
Operational access to the Application is restricted to authorized personnel of WSPN. The QuickBooks Online connection itself is authorized by an administrator of the Kates-Boylston Publications QuickBooks Online company, and that administrator may revoke the connection at any time from within QuickBooks Online.
Cross-system identifier mappings persist for the lifetime of the integration. When the integration is decommissioned, the operational state (timestamps, mappings) is deleted. Original accounting data remains in Mirabel and QuickBooks Online and is governed by their respective retention policies.
